Lesson Scheduling
My goal in teaching is to develop a generation of musicians equipped to thrive in the growing musical landscape. As a result of my instruction, students will develop efficient learning strategies through the vehicle of percussion pedagogy. My teaching is geared towards helping cultivate citizen musicians willing to adapt to the globalized world stage. This process can be achieved through building sustainable, progressive, and dynamic lesson plans based on a cycle of inquiry, action, and reflection. My pedagogy builds a space that encourages experimentation and selective listening. Through the study of repertoire, students will develop their own ‘inner- ear’ and sound vocabulary as they start to articulate their personalized musical choices and artistry.
Lessons can be over Zoom or in person.
